I hear through the grapevine that Lady Gaga is posing for some magazine with NO make-up! You go, girl! I myself rarely wear make-up. I prefer that all-natural look! And whether you like her or hate her, you have to give Lady Gaga props for doing the no-make-up thing. So many celebrities depend so heavily on air-brushing and heaven knows what else that it really takes some guts to allow yourself to be photographed without the crutch of make-up!
Personally, I like Gaga. She is so far out there that she has definitely carved a niche for herself... and in today's world, if you can have the cojones to be yourself and do your own thing, then you definitely have my support!
And of course, I have to say that you can't read my... can't read my... can't read my POKER FACE!

Can't Help But Be A Little Sad!
Yes, I freely admit it... I am a die-hard fan of "All My Children" and especially of Susan Lucci! Ok, there I have said it.
"All My Children" debuted on January 5, 1970. Declining ratings in all of daytime television, combined with the departures of longtime actors has had the ABC network reconsidering its schedule. ABC announced that "All My Children" would be canceled after 41 years on the air... with the last episode to air on September 23rd, 2011.
I'll miss "All My Children" and most especially Susan Lucci as Erica Cane. Of course I've always loved Susan in every one of her roles.
Here is one of my favorite clips of Susan Lucci in Wes Craven's "Invitation To Hell."
And of course, my all-time favorite Susan Lucci movie "Seduced And Betrayed!"

Labor Day Has Arrived!
Autumn is in the air, it's raining and cool, and our first holiday of the season is upon us! After all the interesting suggestions I have received on what to do to celebrate Labor Day, I have decided I'm just going to be lazy today and take a lot of puppy naps!
I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing holiday, and I'm sending along lots of special thoughts for everyone today to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season!
This is one of the most beautiful songs I have heard, and I am sending it along as a special blessing to everyone on this Labor Day holiday. Please enjoy Celine Dion and Josh Groban singing The Prayer.

Yet Another Activity Suggestion!
Those suggestions just keep rolling in for how I should be celebrating Labor Day Weekend. I don't know why people feel compelled to suggest activities that I do something which involves being outdoors... in the heat... with the bugs and mosquitos. There is a reason that God invented air conditioning -- so that I could stay inside and enjoy it!
However, I did get one suggestion that I am considering... Going fishing! Yes, I mean actually sitting outside on some riverbank attempting to catch a fish. I might do that, but ONLY if this guy will come with me and show me how it's done!

Celebrating Old School!
Yep, yep... I'm celebrating Labor Day with some old school dance music today! And what better inspiration than the ultimate Queen of Disco herself -- Donna Summer! (Yes, I know that "disco" is considered a bad word now, so let's just call it old school dance music!)
As they say... "It just don't get no better" than Donna's MacArthur Park Suite! Check it out!

Labor Day Weekend!
Well, here we are at the beginning of September and celebrating Labor Day Weekend! What's a dog to do on this holiday? There are lots of parades and picnics and cookouts... but I just don't think so. I will probably lay around and be lazy -- my favorite thing to do!
But I did have a friend suggest that I get out of the house and go to a baseball game! A baseball game? Are you kidding me? Do I look like I give a hoot about baseball? But then again, I started thinking about it. Maybe it would be worth going to a baseball game if THIS is one of the players!

Overlook The Flaws!
I think some folks just like to go out of their way to get on my last nerve! And sometimes you just have to overlook how generally stupid some people can be. I'm not the best at this, but I do try to overlook the worrisome people in life... sort of following that mantra that you have to accept the things you cannot change. So my theme for today is "just don't let it get to me no matter what!"
I'm just like Pam Tillis today... Just call me Cleopatra, cause I'm the Queen of Denial!
